Guest Wi-Fi and Networks
The amenity guests score you on, designed for thick walls and full houses.

Wi-Fi is the most reviewed amenity in a hotel and the hardest to get right. Listed walls, long corridors, a function suite that goes from empty to four hundred devices in ten minutes, and a wedding party who all want to stream at once. We design for the building and the occupancy pattern, not for a floor plan on paper.
What is included
- Predictive and on-site surveys covering bedrooms, corridors, function rooms and back of house
- Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 design and installation, with experience across Aruba and UniFi estates
- A branded guest landing page with terms acceptance, bandwidth control and room-number or folio login
- Guest traffic separated from PMS, POS, card payments, door locks and staff systems
- Cabling, switching and power over Ethernet sized for the access points, including work in listed buildings
- Phased installation around occupancy, so the property keeps trading and guests keep connecting
- Monitoring afterwards, so a dead access point is found before it reaches the front desk
Who it is for
Hotels, country house and golf venues, conference and wedding venues, and any property where the Wi-Fi shows up in the reviews.
What a guest Wi-Fi audit covers
Half a day on site at most properties, and a written report afterwards.
- A walked survey of bedrooms, corridors, public areas, function rooms and back of house, measuring what a guest device actually sees
- An inventory of the access points, switching and cabling already in place, and how much life is left in them
- Channel, interference and capacity checks, including what happens when a function room fills in ten minutes
- A check that guest traffic is properly separated from PMS, EPOS, card payments and door systems
- A review of the guest landing page, terms acceptance and any room-number or folio login
- A written report with findings, priorities and costs, and no obligation to use us for the work
The standout has to be sorting the Wi-Fi in our 17th-century cottage. Other companies had written it off as impossible, but TIO just got on with it and found a way. Now we've got reliable coverage where we never thought we could.

Questions we get asked
Can you work in an occupied hotel?
Yes, and most of our installations are. Work is phased floor by floor, the noisy parts are scheduled around occupancy and events, and the legacy system stays live until the new one is proven.
We are Grade I listed. Is that a problem?
No. We have installed full networks in Grade I listed properties, with cabling routed sympathetically and equipment sited where it will not be seen or argued over.
Start with the Wi-Fi
A guest Wi-Fi audit is the quickest way to see how we work: we survey the property, test what guests actually experience, and report on what needs doing and what it costs. The findings are yours whether or not you go ahead.
