ORIDA Hotel Maidstone
Maidstone, Kent
A full-service hotel with bedrooms, conference and leisure facilities, trading throughout the works.
TIO IT designed and delivered a complete network and Wi-Fi replacement across the property: a new 5Gb leased line with broadband failover, a new firewall, a 10G backbone between comms rooms, and around 70 Wi-Fi 7 access points covering every bedroom, corridor, public area and the grounds. The three comms rooms were audited, rebuilt and documented as part of the programme, and installation was phased so the hotel kept trading and guests kept connecting throughout. An IP phone system with a PMS interface follows as the next phase.

Broome Park Hotel & Golf Club
Barham, Kent
Grade I listed Carolean mansion, completed around 1638, with golf, leisure and conference facilities in the grounds.
TIO designed, developed and installed the guest Wi-Fi service and ICT network across the house and its facilities. The work was project-managed so that the switchover from the hotel's legacy systems happened with minimum disruption to guest Wi-Fi and to hotel IT, and every service was installed sympathetically inside a Grade I listed building.

I've worked with quite a few IT companies over the years, and if I'm honest, most of them have let us down in one way or another. Either the service wasn't there, the advice wasn't clear, or they simply couldn't deliver what they promised. TIO has been a breath of fresh air. Right from the start, you can tell they're well led, and that really shows in the way they look after their clients. I've currently been using them for 7 years in this Hotel.
They've done some brilliant work for us: setting up Microsoft Intune, upgrading our Windows systems without it costing a fortune, and giving us great advice along the way. The standout, though, has to be sorting the Wi-Fi in our 17th-century cottage. Other companies had written it off as impossible, but TIO just got on with it and found a way. Now we've got reliable coverage where we never thought we could.
What I like most is that they don't just talk in jargon or try to sell you things you don't need. They actually listen, explain things clearly, and make recommendations that make sense for us. We feel properly supported, and it's given us real confidence in our IT setup.
Because of that, we won't be looking anywhere else. TIO have proved themselves, and it feels like we've finally found an IT partner we can rely on for the long term.

Warbrook House

Grade I listed mansion in 130 acres of woodland off the M3, used for conferences, events and weddings.
TIO completed the design, development and full installation of the hotel's ICT infrastructure and its guest Wi-Fi service, covering the house and its business facilities. The Wi-Fi is built on Aruba, chosen for performance where device numbers swing from a handful to a full conference in minutes.
